follow up

it's been really long since i last updated.. so i guess i'll have to update about the things in the previous post before talking about new stuff.. =)

i decided to go the orientation in the end. and my decision did not cause me one bit of regret. the new friends, the hyped up emotions, the freshies, the fellow mentors.. anyone one of those would have made my decision to go for orientation worth it. it was a great orientation for me. i have something to look forward to the whole orientation. when i wake up, i look forward to seeing my freshies and look forward to seeing them enjoy themselves.. when the day's activities end.. i look forward to seeing all the fellow mentors gathered for a debrief in the LT. when debrief ends, i look forward to supper with my fellow i-Sleepers (people who shared the iHub room at night).. although engineering did not win in the end.. i guess the experience was enough.. we can always try to get the trophies next year.. but we cannot be sure that we would experience the same kind of fun we had this year.. so.. although there were many flaws in the orientation programme, i still think it's worth going for.. will join it again if i had the chance to do so..

by the way, i have already started to paint my house.. currently only 1 room and the living room is complete.. got to work harder.. but im getting rather sick of the "paint smell"..

well, that's it for follow up.. sip/mp has started! im doing a project that requires me to make a fingerprint authentication module work! i hope it wont be too difficult to achieve.. wish me luck! we're starting on the project this tuesday =)

FAs and mentors are talking about meeting up tml to go to sentosa.. dont know if i should go.. zzz. shall see who's going.. =)

the next end

seems like i've been always looking forward to the end of things.. i remember myself waiting for school to end and for holidays to start, only to find myself at work and looking forward to stop work..

but that's only for the things i dont like.. things like camps are never an issue.. =) i went for a camp last friday.. the ETC.. ENGenius Training Camp.. isnt that a uber corny name? so i'll prefer to call it ETC.. it was fun! the nightwalk.. the forfeits.. the overnight stay.. the jokes.. everything was fun.. only thing about the camp was the waiting.. i guess there were just too many circumstances that the organizers did not expect.. so we ended up waiting for long periods of time.. the food was good though.. unlike most camps =)

well.. the camp was in preparation of the orientation next week.. if i choose to attend, it would mean committing the whole week.. monday to friday.. shall see how things go..

by the way.. it's Good Friday! and i'm off work! phew~ tomorrow's the last day of work.. i'm gonna start painting my house soon i guess =)

Fashion is in Singapore

It's nearing the end of the fashion week in singapore and i would say the atmosphere has been rather good.. you go to orchard road and you see big lcd tvs playing fashion show footage everywhere..

i went to a fashion show by Nokia, presenting their new series of fashion phones L’Amour featuring Calvin Klein. CK was somehow able to provide the clothes that match so well with the phones. I wonder why. I shall not forget to mention this model who looked so much like a Manequin..

darn.. i wonder how i could missed bringing out my camera with me.. no worries. im going for island shop's fashion show tomorrow.. i will not forget my camera this time.. beach wear! =)
