Click

Spoiler Warning (Click at your own risk)

went to catch Click on monday.. i think it was a great movie.. the universal remote.. how cool is that.. if i had that.. i won't do fast forwarding.. i would pause whenever i feel like it.. i suppose there are no side effects with pausing? =p

when i first saw the movie trailer, i thought it would be the kind of show which i would watch, laugh and forget.. i think i wasn't really very ready to watch it then.. but soon, one by one.. my friends who watched it recommended the show.. they used words and phrases like "touching", "meaningful", "got moral one", "got storyline!".. so i decided that i should watch it afterall..

and true enough.. the show was great.. emotions were plenty.. you feel glad for the main character, you feel sad for the main character, you worry for the main character.. and you pity the main character.. the main character learned the hard way.. but all was good in the end i guess...

those who haven't watched click, please go catch it! i guess next week would be the last week it would be screening in cinemas.....

@anonymous i shall be.: =) no problem! great that u enjoyed it XD
@z: yeah.. the breaks! where problem 90% of the students in breadboard are IFC students.. =P

Ending Phase Of SIPMP

well, we students who are currently in SIPMP are finally reaching the end of all the torment and torture.. i have almost gotten used to the life in lab.. with all the different people in the lab.. the cheers the anger.. the drama.. what better way is there to bond a group of strangers together than to put them in the same lab for 2 and a half month? made new friends with some and became closer with others..

all these coming to an end soon.. but will we miss it? i don't think so.. all of us are dying to wake up late everyday.. all of us are dying to be free to go out and have fun every single day..

well, activities planned for the holidays? the class chalet.. other than that, none.. i just wanna relax..

/*my birthday was quite fun.. my classmates bought a cake for me.. and then i got taupok-ed.. first experience.. couldn't breathe at the bottom.. got 2 sets of presents so far.. then i had a nice dinner at cosy bay.. very nice place.. =) good day for me.. =) thanks to all who made the birthday a great one =)*/
//opps! too much java..

@Jiayi: hmmmmmm... thanks...... =D

SFF 2006

wow.. it's almost a week after the end of the fireworks festival and here i am deciding to blog about it.. well, better late than never? =p

all the shows were great.. it's always a wonder for us deprived Singaporeans (read below to understand) to watch the beautiful lights to explode and form pretty shapes before our eyes.. i missed the show by new caledonia! but other than that.. i went for all the other fireworks displays..

out of 3 of the displays that i went to, i guess i liked the display by france the best.. that might be because i didn't take any pictures/videos and had all the freedom to admire the fireworks.. the final part of the display by france was gold themed.. it was just so pleasing to the eyes.. that was a good day =p

ok.. moving on with life, i was at my uncle's funeral just now.. well, met this old lady from china who is a retired teacher.. my aunt's good friend/neighbour.. she was so well learned.. rather interesting to talk to someone like her.. you get lots of interesting facts/ways of thinking from her.. and everything is just so random and carefree.. a good person to talk to.. no wonder my aunt likes her.. =p

well, she said that in china, they set off fireworks and firecrackers almost anywhere anytime anyday.. so she finds it quite amusing when her son-in-law offers to bring her along to firecrackers/fireworks displays.. she finds it even more amusing when she sees the crowd a firework/firecracker display can generate.. what a mockery eh? we are so deprived.. =p for safety reasons though.. what to do.. =/

Singapore's Birthday!!

wednesday was our dear country's birthday.. and i didn't intend to miss the fireworks! lol.. went early this time.. wasn't gonna miss out on a clear shot of the fireworks.. went to katong with my friends in the morning.. we left at 4.. and decided to walk to the stadium! yeah.. we stopped at places that sold water.. lol.. when we reached it was still early so we went to the bridge to take some photos..

well, the fireworks seem pretty much repeated from what i see.. but still nice to watch though.. =) never get bored of it! i wonder why~

@Jiayi: Horrible? =( hope this one is better then.. .. .. ..
@anonymous: Sorry lar!!! already out with my friends ma.. forsake them meh....... =/

went for the first 2 shows of the fireworks festival.. italy did a fabulous job on saturday.. today, i took a taxi to esplanade to join my friends.. i was late! the jam cost me $6 worth of waiting time on the taxi.. just when i was about to reach the esplanade... *BOOM*

awww crap.. but at least i caught the last part of it.. yeah.. it was fireworks spamming at it's best.. lol.. the video will say it all.. =)
PS: don't mind the trees.. i wanna chop them down too..

@Jiayi: yeah.. got to have some boring entries to make the better ones stand out more.. =p

Graduated!

yup.. yesterday night's "ceremony" marked the end of the student champs programme for microsoft.. they'll be starting the student partners programme which will be recognised worldwide! =)

we were treated to dinner at NUSS's guild house at suntec city.. nice place i would say.. never knew it existed.. when i saw that it was on the 5th floor i was wondering if there was a mistake.. lol.. and to think that place can house a tennis court and a swimming pool.. wow..

well, it was fine dining.. something many of us haven't touched before.. we had lots of knifes and forks.. but i guess i sort of know the "functions" of the different knifes after the dinner.. =) the food was not bad =)

received my cert.. it seems like stanley has many plans for the student partners programme.. it's rather exciting to be kept in the dark.. whatever he's thinking.. i hope it would be fun.. lol..

@Jiayi: fireworks festival is here! =) gotta catch everyone of the shows!!!!!
