licensed

i guess many would have known by now.. i passed my driving test and is a licensed driver now.. 29th May 2006. i got it yesterday. =) and i drove my dad's car out.. coincidentally he's out of town..

well, a licensed driver doesnt mean a safe driver.. now im on the road with no instructor on my side.. will need to be more careful than ever.. guess i've been in the care of a instructor for too long.. so much so that i leave many things to the instructor and might neglect some safety procedures..

i need to be reminded that there is no instructor beside me now.. no one would detect hazards for me.. no one would step on the brakes for me.. i must be more alert than when i was learning how to drive.. that's something to remember..

just cant sleep

i think they are right.. nobody would be able to sleep well the first time he/she takes a driving test.. i thought i wouldnt have a problem.. i tucked myself in bed at 10pm and i ended up sleeping at 1am last night.. i hope its not nerves.. maybe it's just my body clock.. i usually sleep at 1 and wake up at 7.30..

and here i am blogging at 8.06am.. i woke up at 7.45am.. was supposed to sleep till 8.30am! but somehow i woke up automatically without my alarm..

to be honest.. i feel rather excited.. if i pass this test, i'll be going places with my dad's car.. but if i dont i'll just have to book another test date.. i kinda feel some nerves now.. i need to relax!!! haha!

i finally sorted out the archiving system in this blog. i guess everything is working fine now.. =)

went to watch x men 3 yesterday.. the action was great! i was very interested to see what special skills the various mutants had.. not the usual ones like storm, cyclops and kitty.. but non were as cool as kitty.. how cool would it be if you could walk through walls!

the ring (US version) is showing now on channel 5.. somehow it feels like a spoof to me when i watch it..

To The Pessimistic One

i have friends around me who are always sighing and complaining about how life is unfair and how they are suffering.. i wonder how someone can feel that way.. perhaps i havent experienced what they have experienced and am not in a position to comment about their pessimistic ways.. such a short life.. you never know when it'll end..

if you're gonna be uphappy all day.. if you're gonna find fault with the simplest things.. if you're gonna feel that you are a inferior insignificant being in the world.. i believe life isnt gonna be any fun at all.. in fact, life'll really suck..

so why dont we just try to take life more "optimistically" and be happy most of the time instead of going "hai", "haiz", "sigh" most of the time.. even if you dont intend to change for yourself, please try your best to change for the benefit of your friends around you.. dont you agree that it's very tiring to keep having to comfort or console someone and tell them that this world is a good enough place to live in?

still nothing

well.. my major project(MP) has started for 2 weeks now.. and we still havent done much.. well, at least we know what we're supposed to do for now.. we just dont really know how to get started.. status of the project? : It's complicated. lol. hope everything would get on track soon.. cant wait to get the fingerprint scanning device from I2R. think it would be quite cool to work on..

tw is talking about a trip to sentosa on the 20th May for ifc.. i wonder who will really be interested to go.. many would just be too lazy to go i guess.. would really like to see the course bonded and interacting with one another.. i always thought that the classes where too divided..

PS: My Leave Of Absence from MP has been approved for my driving test on 29/05/2006. Pray that i pass on the first attempt!
