National Day!

national day is coming! two wednesdays away! i hope that day won't be wasted at home.. i remember i was at the kallang river one or two years back on national day.. went there on bicycles to watch the fireworks.. i guess that was the second closest i got to the fireworks at the parade.. the closest i was was in primary 5 or 6 i think.. in the rehearsal.. lol..


@xcode: wah.. so vicious.. yeah i know you have a particular strong hatred for such people.. =p
@Jiayi: no such smses yet!? =) probably cause u have great friends like me all around you.. haha!

The Seventh Month

according to the lunar calendar, today's the first day of the seventh month.. supposedly the hungry ghost festival.. well.. i guess it's sort of a chinese tradition.. so out of foolish fear or out of respect for the tradition, i guess it sort of affects me a little.. yup.. i know it's foolish.. but yeah.. =p

the issue i want to address is not anything supernatural.. what's with the spate of chain smses related to the hungry ghost festival? people creating such smses that eventually curse you to oblivion at the end unless you forward it to like what? 20 or more people?

service providers should happy though.. can imagine them going..
"wow.. these foolish people are actually forwarding the smses.. comon guys! send more!"

stop it people! here's a tip.. whenever u read an sms that starts going, "Forward this to x more people or..........." STOP READING AND DELETE THAT FREAKING SMS! i guess i made my point =p kthxbye.

PS: anyone else received such smses? -_-

WeekEND

the week has finally ended again.. and another week will start again soon.. we're now formally in the "SIP" phase.. which means not much difference except an additional "daily journal" to write.. many others have already finished their projects.. my group still hasnt got the hardware needed for the project.. we're supposed to work with a "dummy hardware".. how boring.. i wanna see the real thing in action! argh..

dinner at microsoft was quite cool.. never knew there was a pool table and foos ball table inside.. first time i was at microsoft playing.. and not doing stuff like meetings and trainings.. they were talking about a xbox competition in the Innovation Centre though.. fun people to be with eh? hahaa..

oh yeah! i didnt mention that my god sis came back to Singapore 2 thursdays ago.. havent got a chance to meet up with her yet.. =)


@Jiayi: haha.. johnny depp played the character well.. think it'd be boring without him.. hahaa.. and everyone should watch the lake house! =p

Pirates Of The Caribbean

Went to watch "Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" yesterday.. was quite a good movie i would say.. the movie had a good balance of humour and action.. it's definitely worth a watch.. for those who caught the part after all the boring credits in the first episode, there's something at the end of the credits again this time.. most of us didn't really find that last part worth significant in anyway though.. those were the days of our lives.. when everything was about fun.. we were in sec 3! i remember teachers in my school used to call it the "honeymoon year".. where everyone slacked and did not care about studies..

we were in sec 3.. that was the day before my birthday i remember.. i always thought it was my fault.. i was having too much fun to care.. i know you didnt think anything about it.. everyone else probably wont care too.. but its been bugging me..

Those Days

those days in secondary school.. they were really the best times.. poly is just not as much fun as secondary school.. everybody knows almost everyone else.. and we just spend our after school time in club rooms killing time.. playing games.. harmlessly breaking rules.. seeing the discipline master(for good reasons of course).. seeing the principal(for good reasons again of course)..

not just all these stuff that made my secondary school life rock.. many other things i've not mentioned.. all those people and things.. just thinking back make me smile like a retard.. lol...

many people are getting loads of assignments in tp.. good luck people! they'll all end one day! i've been through it.. trust me.. check out my january and february archives.. lol...

oh yeah.. and zihui saw fabian tan today.. yeah.. that's all.. bye! =) lol.

What A Week!

i would say the past week has been quite eventful.. tuesday was doomsday for us.. it was project asessment 1! and we were so not prepared at all.. but we met the requirements in the end i guess.. mr ng didn't ask much though.. probably because he is quite updated with our project progress.. =) great supervisor!

thursday was badminton.. and most would already know that i pulled a muscle at my shoulder-neck region.. zzz.. and it still feels weird.. guess it'll heal soon though.. well.. it was a nice night in school though.. it started to pour and all the sports club came into the sports hall to gather.. crowded and nice.. i wonder why but i liked the atmosphere..

and we have decided that it's running on monday, basketball on tuesday and badminton on thursday.. wow? but i think it's hard to keep such activities going every single week.. one week or two week of rain and all the enthusiastic mood in us would probably be gone..

i just found an old ayumi hamasaki album.. i still feel that her previous style was so much better than her current style.. mention ayumi and i probably remember her old songs.. not the new ones..
