it was poh suan's birthday last night.. we all had fun i think! except maybe the birthday girl who got really drunk; dead drunk. she couldn't even move! i couldn't drink cause i was driving.. but i don't think i can take much alcohol anyway.. lol..

Forbidden City

Magnificent.

i tell you.. this musical is great.. i for one measure the success of a performance by the applause given by the audience at the end.. this one was great.. there were cheers, whistles, standing ovations and a hell lot of clapping.. i can't describe anything else about the musical.. it was fantastic! please catch it if you haven't! 3 more days left! saturday is the last day.. don't miss it! it's highly recommended.. =)

Sigh

there's this huge burden on my heart.. i don't know what! just don't feel easy! you know that kind of feeling.. like you are worried about so many things that you don't remember what is worrying you most.. is it money? is it friends? or is it parents? damn.

Day Out

today was quite a good day i guess.. was supposed to look for my tw, ed, sab and ps in town.. when i reached i didn't call them.. just walked around on my own.. i don't know why i just had this feeling that i will bump into them.. yea.. and i did.. wow.. my gut feeling works.. lol..

it was quite fun to see their different moods and energy levels.. one was super hyper.. one was moderate.. ed was super low on energy today.. lol.. i was quite tired too.. slept at 3am and woke up at 8.30 and went to microsoft for meeting..

yup.. and ps has already collected 1 birthday present! LOL.

dinner supper was at geylang.. you tiao da wang! nice food! had lots of food and ended up super full.. note: the you tiao is extremely oily. and you get full on it easily. i guess all you tiaos ah?

PS: opened my letter box and tada* there was a mindef letter sitting in it.. my medical checkup letter is here too. sian.

Enlistment Near

hmmm.. so far, victor and teow hwee have received their letters to go for medical check up for ns.. wow.. how time flies.. we're entering ns already.. i'm 1 year slower than my batch but i guess it still feels so fast.. wonder how ns life is going to be.. hope it'll be fun.. out of education into army! that kind of feeling is gonna be weird.

The Banquet

went to watch the banquet today.. well, those who haven't watched it, DONT WATCH IT IF YOU ARE NOT PATIENT ENOUGH.. they are like always talking in slow motion.. the show was so long and draggy because of the way they speak i think? there are always silent parts when they start talking.. you have been warned! haha.. all my friends agreed that it was rather boring lar.. but if you like such artistic stuff.. i guess it'll be a good catch.. it's KINDA like hamlet in chinese.. hahahaa.. poor rayner and jon got blasted for deciding on such a poor movie.. hahaha.. i had a part in deciding too? i said anything.. opps. haha.

//edit: the movie is based on hamlet.. i think i would prefer to watch the play rather than an abstract version in movie form.. well, it's a famous story written by shakespear so it can't be that bad if you are looking at it in terms of literature?

Late Nights

i've been having very late night for the past 3 or 4 days.. today, i woke up, still struggling to bring myself out of bed.. i was thinking that it was 12 and i'd better wake up.. so i did.. when i woke up, i looked at my phone and had a shock of my life.. no! not 100 missed calls or 99 smses.. it was the time! 3.54pm!? what the? how did i manage to sleep that long! that's 12 hours of sleep! from 4am till 4pm! that's a first for me..

if you're wondering why i slept so late.. yesterday was winson's birthday! was supposed to be there at 11.45pm, before winson's birthday ends.. but we arrived at 12.05am+.. meant to be a surprise.. and i guess he was really surprised to see so many of us when he came out of his lift.. rayner, jon, jim, hp, tw, zh, ps, sab, ed and me! that's 10! he was expecting only rayner and jon i guess? went ahead to cut the cake (past his birthday but we had to do something about the cake right!) at his void deck.. after that was supper at 85! eventually left at about 2.15am.. sent ed, ps, sab and tw home before reaching home at 3am..

yeah.. =p some words of advice from xcode:

hmm.. gotta keep that in mind.. but i don't think i'll be able to sleep early.. lol..

this post is here too late.. late better than never i guess? i've been so lazy to blog! i wonder why.. lost motivation.. hahaa..

ok.. the camp was fun! although they were many logistical stuff to be done.. and yeah.. logistics.. everyone know what that word mean.. it means carrying many things.. preparing many things..

first day we checked in at 6pm.. went to the lt to wait for a briefing.. was the first in the lt.. when everyone else started to come in.. i realised that the program comm is nearly all ifc students.. except for 1 (hui wen).. lol.. wasn't a very interesting night.. we spent the night ice breaking, thinking of a name for the program comm.. i dont know why.. but we eventually named ourselves kumbar -_-

2nd day was a little more happening.. we had mass dance in the morning.. then lunch.. lunch was carona chicken if i didnt remember wrongly.. not a bad choice of food for lunch..

then it was the scavenger hunt.. it was then when i saw what people would do just to win.. lol.. collect 10 strands of armpit hair? gross.. wrap their own socks over their hands for the rest of the period of the scavenger hunt.. rubbing toothpaste onto their faces.. all the programers got dragged down too.. we all had toothpaste on our cheeks.. it was madness.

then it was prepartion at tembusu grove for 3 way captains ball.. that was madness too.. we all agreed that some gals were definitely playing more rough than the guys.. imagine you see a girl charging at you.. madness again.....

it was then time to prepare for the grand finale! i left halfway so i dont know the whole program.. it rained heavily though.. had to change our venue to outside tcc.. sad! it would have been fun to be outdoors..

the next day was water games.. well.. use ur imagination la.. lazy to elaborate.. bottom line: we all got freaking wet.
