Codename Preparations CNY

it's gonna be the Chinese New Year in less than 25 hours time judging from the time i posted. for the past 1 month, my mum has been keeping herself busy all around the house doing spring cleaning till her hands hurt. it's kind of painful to see. i try to help out whenever i can, but the work she keeps in her mind kind of never ends.

so for the past 2 days, i have been "free-er" and have been rather actively helping out. spring cleaning is a tired-some job. my back kinda hurts now. weak.

well, went walking around suntec today. was not very crowded as expected. saw so many things that i am interested to buy. not enough cash though. well.. but chinese new year is coming isnt it =)

Warning from NLB

hmm. received a warning today from National Library Board. =( apparantly i have 4 outstanding fines amounting to $12.60 under my account.. so they sent me a letter, part of it being the following, "NLB would therefore like to make this final appeal to members who have outstanding fines and fees to pay up immediately."

i guess i'll have to pay soon and not hope that they'll cancel the fine like in my friend's case where they took away a more than $50 fine. well. i'm not really sure about how things at the library work. but then again, if we all knew, people won't be paying fines anymore.

Bored Or Stressed?

these two days have been extremely boring days at home.. no one wants to play games online, and there no good programmes on tv! awww hell. i sound so free right? actually im not.

6 projects on hand! i don't even know where to start. i've been sleeping at 2am for the past week just to meet project check deadlines. i think it's gonna be the same for the week ahead. at the end of it all, i think i'll really need all the 2 months of holidays i have to rest. can u imagine how relieved i was when friday finally came.

on a lighter note, BBQ this coming saturday for Microsoft Champs! hope the turnout will be good. and of course the food should be good too.

release news

i'm rather happy with this template. it's been a long time since i found a template that looks sufficiently decorated but not look too "girl". Too many template creators out there are targetting girl blogs! remember the male bloggers! they are lazy to design webpages too! anyway. after working on the template for a while. i think it's almost ready for use. i think im too fussy. haha.

new blog

well, a new blog again. trying out the skin to see if i like it for a while.. beta version! guess i'll like to post here more than theSpoke. i feel so "not in control" when i use theSpoke. so i'll be posting here more often! =)
